Chibi England x Chibi Reader: Lost

You were minding your own business taking your usual stroll on the edge of the meadow just a way from your cottage in the field. You always liked  how the forest would abruptly start toward the right of the field. As if to show there was a line between separate worlds, the calm breezy field and the mysterious forest that seemed to lure your curiosity.

Being the curious chibi you are you always wanted to adventure inside the forest and see what it was exactly that was in there. Sadly, you never had the courage to venture all the way, the most you would do is peek past the first tree and think you saw someone or someTHING rush past trees and bushes in the distance. But oh ho! Not today! You were going to take this as far as you could! So you pulled on your (-your chibi outfit here-) and tied you (H/C) hair back into a low ponytail. A thing you did when you meant business. You took a deep breath and marched onward.

“So far so good...” You mumbled nervously messing with the hem of your sleeves. …..rustle...rustle... “NOOOOOO!!!!” you swished your head left then right looking for the culprit of the scream. You shook you head “It was nothing...J-just...My imagination...” you calmed yourself. “okay..” You continued your small footsteps forward while your mind was racing along with your heartbeat.  ...rattle...rattle.. “?!?!” you turned your head to the side thinking you saw a bush in the distance move. “ S-stop... (Y/N) ...S-see?? it's nothing!..hehh...heeh..” You noticed you had started walking faster and started to think you should turn around and go back. 'I mean...this sure is the farthest I've EVER went..' You thought putting your small hand on your cheek.

You turned around expecting to see the light of the field, but instead you were greeted by the sight of trees... “uh...oh..” You were starting to panic. 'Mumma had always told me wolves could live in this forest maybe their the ones making the noises!..' You shook at the thought. …..rustle....rustle.... You that rustle again only this time it sounded closer. 'Oh no...their here..' You started to sprint away from the noise only resulting in smashing into something. You felt something on top of you. Nervously you gently felt of it... 'It's furry?!?!.....IT'S A WOLF?!'

That's when you lost it. You started kicking and screaming, flailing around trying desperately to knock off the wolf. When out of nowhere a hand cover your mouth and holds you down. You are about to chomp down on the hand when you hear- “SHUT UP!!” you freeze and take a look at who in the world could had said that. Looking more closely at the wolf, you could see that the wolf was actually a boy...  You move his hand and ask “W-who...are you?!” you tried wiggling away from his grip but find that he's pretty strong. The boy repeats his actions as before and covers your mouth.

“SHHHH!!!” you obey subconsciously and lay there quietly. You can hear to what sounds like a man running around carelessly looking for something.. “DA**! ….I lost the brat...oh, well he can't hide forever..” the older man growled under his breath then took a deep breath- “YOU CAN'T HIDE!!!” was his last yell as he mumbled and started walking. Soon, you heard twigs cracking as the voice mumbling faded away. You switched your focus to the boy who was mumbling himself. “...that's what you think..” he smirked and chuckled to himself.

You wiggled a little still being crushed by his weight. “?!” He jumped up and apologized. “OH! I-I'm sorry! Are alright?” he extended his hand for you to take. You grabbed his small hand with your own and then dusted your self off and fixed you (H/C) locks. “O-oh I'm fine!” You smiled at him feeling a lot better now knowing you weren’t in danger or being crushed. But still one question bothered you.. “Was that man looking for you?” you blinked you (E/C) eyes at him in curiosity. He seemed taken aback from your question. “?! O-oh..right..w-well, you see I have..I mean..We just can't agree on some things...” he sighed as he pulled at his hood that covered his head.

You looked down. “oh..well...” You looked up at the boy and smiled sweetly. “I'm (Y/N)! what's your name?” he blushed slightly as he glanced at a tree to the side of him. “...I'm...Arthur.. A-Arthur Kirkland” he kissed your hand as you blushed in return. “Could you show me how to get to the field close to these woods?” He smiled in return and nodded “This way. Follow me” he took your hand and led you toward your peaceful field.

You finally had made it, you could already see your house from where you were standing in the forest with Arthur. You turned to him “Thanks again for showing me the way!” he smiled “It was my pleasure...” he was about to walk away when your scream “Arthur!..” he turned around, his coat shadowing his motions. “..yes?” you smiled “We should play together sometime!” you giggled at his blushing face as he answered happily “ I would love that..”
